On my ride to check out the Theophilus London show out here in Tampa this past Wednesday, I equipped my ipod with the eclectic vibe of Black Spade's – Build & Destroy Mixtape. 2008's To Serve With Love was in my opinion one of the best albums of that year "serving" souled out hip hop to old and new fans such as myself. With Build & Destroy being his first mixtape ever, he's done exceptionally well showcasing his varied styles, his passion for diversity and uniqueness in his sound and art. Stoney Rock as he is also known will delight the eccentric listener with stories of disdain for the b.s in music and entertainment and the reputations built around it, the strength of life and love and of course, just straight up hard hitting lyrics and beats.
